Our Support Team

Kristy Kratz, Office Coordinator

Kristy graduated Cum Laude from Towson University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management with a minor in Business. Kristy coordinates office schedules, policies and procedures, answers faxes, processes medical record requests, answers phones, and schedules follow up appointments.

ANN BIGELOW, ADMINISTRATIVE assistant

Ann is our primary Receptionists! Ann specializes in customer service and is likely to be one of your first interactions with our Group. Ann answers the phones, schedules appointments, collects co-payments and assists with miscellaneous tasks. Ann received her BA from Georgetown University with a major in Government and minor in Psychology

Lindsay Robertson, Human resources director; Credentialing consultant

Lindsay identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. Additionally, Lindsay coordinates the Office’s Patient intake roster, where she focuses on New Client registration. Lindsay assists with answering phones and can meet scheduling needs. Lindsay holds two certifications in Human Resources and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources.

 

Teresa Burkitt - RECEPTIONIST

Teresa is the newest addition to our administration. Her primary role with ABHS is to support your administrative needs. Teresa’s kind and supportive traits are a welcome addition to our team!

Sara Argueta - intake Coordinator

Sara is our Intake Coordinator and started with ABHS in March of 2023. She earned her BA degree in Social Sciences at University of Maryland and hopes to continue her education in pursuit of a Master's degree in Social Work. Sara is also a licensed esthetician and in the future, hopes to combine both therapy and aesthetics in her own Holistic practice.

SAM BOLIN, LCSW-C

Sam Bolin, our Chief Executive Officer, is a Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) who has been practicing at our founding agency, The Linthicum Counseling Center, since 2017.

Sam has previously worked as an Outpatient Therapist for Maryland Health Alliance. Prior to his graduate education at the University of Southern California’s School of Social Work in 2014, Sam served honorably as a United States Marine. Sam has experience and is comfortable working with adults, children and families. As a generalist, Sam uses an interactive approach to help facilitate growth and communication at various levels. Sam is is fully licensed as a LCSW-C in State of Maryland.

REED GEHRING, LCSW-C

Reed Gehring , our Chief Clinical Officer, is Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) who has been in practice for the past 29 years. Reed has been in private practice since 2006 and is currently practicing at our founding agency, The Linthicum Counseling Center.

Reed has previously served as the executive director of the Family Services Association of Cecil County, he was also the supervisor of outpatient psychiatry at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center and the director of child psychiatry at Chesapeake Behavior Health Services. He has a wealth of experience working with adults, families and children. He has interactive approach to addressing individual and family issues to achieve results.

Reed is a 1988 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work and is is fully licensed as a LCSW-C in State of Maryland.

ANGIE HART-HESS, LCSW-C

Angie Hart-Hess, our Chief Operating Officer, is Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) who has been in practice for the past 27 years. Angie has been practicing at our founding agency, The Linthicum Counseling Center, since 2017. Angie is in full time practice at Medstar Franklin Square Hospital Center in the Outpatient Community Psychiatry Program. She has been the director of adult psychiatry at Chesapeake Behavioral Health Services. She has been in private practice since 2006.

She specializes in working with adults and offers a breadth of experience to assist those who present with a variety of complex behavioral health issues. Angie is a 1996 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work and is fully licensed as a LCSW-C in State of Maryland.

Richard M. Haber, MD

Richard Haber graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency in Psychiatry at Sheppard Pratt Hospital in 1988. He was certified by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1992 and obtained added qualifications for Geriatrics in 1992 and Addictions in 2005. He has worked at Baltimore County Health Department for 4 years, Way Station Inc. in Frederick, Maryland for 4 years and the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 3 years. He served as a full time psychiatrist and Medical Director for the Frederick County Health Department in their substance abuse program from 2001 to 2017. Dr. Haber joined ABHS in 2018. He now enjoys practicing general psychiatry.

Cecil tucker, PMHNP-BC, CRNP

Cecil completed his Master's of Nursing Degree at Walden University. He has over 20 years of clinical experience in emergency care and mental health nursing. His philosophy is one client at a time focusing on unique circumstances while utilizing individual strengths to arrive at an acceptable and stable goal for the client. Cecil establishes a partnership with the client that will strongly encourage the client to the best outcome for them. 

Cynthia Glover-singleton, PMHNP-BC, CRNP

Cynthia completed her Masters of Nursing at Walden University. Cynthia will be joining ABHS in the late spring. At this time she will provide Medication Management services.

Dave Blackburn has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland – Baltimore and is a Diplomate of Clinical Social Work of the National Association of Social Workers.  Prior experience consists of practicing psychotherapy and medical social work at the Baltimore Co. Health Dept. In addition, Dave has provided emergency psychiatric evaluation and crisis intervention at four area hospitals. Dave has experience in all aspects of treating adults.  Areas of interest are working with people with chronic medical issues and helping people manage chronic mental health disorders.

Pat Reuppert, LCSW-C

Pat Reuppert has a BA in Social Work from Kean University of New Jersey, and an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University and is fully licensed in the State of Maryland. Prior experience includes medical social work, 12 years of providing social work services in the Baltimore City School System, and significant experience providing psychotherapy to all ages at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Sinai Hospital, and the Baltimore County Mental Health System. 

Areas of interest include developmental/learning disabilities, providing therapy to adults with complex medical problems, and anxiety disorders/depression. I believe that psychotherapy is an interactive process where the client and therapist develop a dialogue to address problems, while being aware the client’s strengths and goals. My approach includes strategies from Cognitive Behavioral therapies and mindfulness.

ChekubeChukwu Okereke graduated from Bowie State University in 2018 with her BSW degree and shortly after obtained her MSW degree from the University of Maryland –Baltimore in 2019. ChekubeChukwu has been fully licensed as a LMSW in Maryland and LGSW in the District of Columbia since 2021. ChekubeChukwu has served children, low-income families, individuals with substance abuse, couples, and the maternal health population. She uses faith principles and evidence-based practices such as trauma-informed care, psychoanalysis, and CBT.

Deborah Watson, LCSW-C

Deborah Watson graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She has a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, School of Social Work, with a Clinical/Aging focus. 

In the last 20 (plus) years, Debbie has worked primarily with the adult/geriatric population in hospital, home health, outpatient mental health, hospice and nursing home settings.  Debbie has specialized in Grief and Loss, which includes the loss of job, marriage, family and other non-death related losses.   Debbie incorporates mindfulness and spirituality and utilizes interactive techniques in her practice..

Aaron Gehring, LCSW-C

Aaron Gehring graduated from the Salisbury University, School of Social Work with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Social Work.  Aaron has experience working with individuals, children, adults and families. As a generalist, Aaron uses an interactive approach to help facilitate growth and communication at various levels. Aaron is fully licensed as a LCSW-C in State of Maryland.

Aaron has previously worked at Community Behavior Health as an outpatient mental health therapist working with individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, experiencing a range of mental health disorders. During his time there, he also led group therapy sessions. Aaron has experience working with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. He utilizes a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team approach to provide high quality level of care. Aaron also worked at Wicomico County Public Schools working with adolescents on challenges related to academic, career planning, social relationships, and mental wellbeing. He is experienced with using mindfulness, conflict resolution, and supportive therapy with evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing to help individuals set and meet their unique goals

 

Margaux Blau, Lcsw-c

Margaux Blau graduated with her Masters of Social from the University of Maryland - Baltimore in 2020 and is fully licensed as a LMSW in Maryland. Margaux enjoys working with adult individuals who face anxiety, depression, or a history of trauma. She uses evidence-based practices to help clients seek insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors such as IFS, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness. Margaux’s areas of interest include managing chronic health concerns and stress.

samantha Lucky, LMSW

Samantha Lucky graduated from Bowie State University in 2018, with a bachelor’s of science degree in Social Work. She then obtained a master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in geriatric mental health. Samantha is a licensed social worker as of July 2021. Samantha has experience serving single parents and their children, individuals with substance use disorders, and older adults using trauma-informed care.  She’s led an 11-week Strengthening Families course, created by Dr. Karol Kumpfer, designed to strengthen the family dynamic in single-parent as well as two-parent households. Samantha incorporates faith principles and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques in her practice. 

Dara Crawley, LMSW

Dara Crawley has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and is a licensed social worker in the state of Maryland. Previously, she provided support to the Baltimore City Circuit Court and Maryland Legal Aid social work units. As an outpatient therapist, she has worked with adult individuals from a variety of backgrounds through a mixture of evidenced based practice and rapport building.


Areas of special interest include working with African Americans, LGBTQ+ populations, members of alternative lifestyle communities (kink/BDSM communities and ethical non-monogamists), participants of diverse spiritualities. She has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, non-death related loss, adjusting to recent ADHD diagnosis, individuals navigating ethical non-monogamy, individuals undergoing life transitions, and supporting those trying to identify healthy work-life balances. She utilizes mindfulness strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, spirituality at the client's direction,  and creative expression alongside acceptance and commitment therapy to create an eclectic approach to best meet each individual client's needs.

 

Mariam Haj, LSW

Mariam Haj graduated from Temple University, School of Social Work with a Bachelors and Masters degree. Mariam bases her therapy techniques on the generalist approach which is rooted in recognizing the connection of the person and the environment to help people and systems from a Strengths Based Perspective to recognize, support, and build on the innate capabilities of each individual. Mariam is fully licensed as a LSW in the State of New Jersey. Mariam has employment history in the Department of Human Services focusing on children with emotional, mental, and psychiatric difficulties. Mariam was also employed as a medical Social Worker in a Children's Hospital. During Mariam's Social Work career she was exposed to working with the children, adult and geriatric population with various population backgrounds. During Mariam's free time she finds great joy in fostering animals and spending time with family. Mariam utilizes clinical research in evidence based interventions and different methods of Cognitive behavioral theory to help strengthen clients alongside motivational interviewing to help each client find the strength within themselves to build on their inner self.

George Lucas, LMSW

George Lucas earned his Masters of Social Work degree through the University of Southern California School of Social Work. He has worked with ABHS since early January 2022, first as an intern and then as a full-time licensed therapist in 2023. George moved from his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to Baltimore in October 2021, and continuously enjoys the process of getting to know his new community. George works collaboratively to help facilitate healthy change related to overall well-being. Along with studying Cognitive-Behavioral and Problem-Solving approaches to therapy, he has spent the last few years cultivating his own mindfulness and meditation practices.

Rob Reichhelm is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland who has been practicing since 2011. He has experience working with ADHD, depression, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, childhood behavioral issues, ENM/polyamorous challenges, couple’s Issues, grief, men’s issues, school behavioral issues, self-esteem, anger, and family conflict. Rob believes in empowering minds to heal, thrive, and embrace change. As a therapist, he has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families overcome life’s toughest challenges. From trauma recovery to ADHD management, relationship healing to career transitions – Rob is here for you. Rob brings experience training, leading, and implementing creative treatment approaches that include all aspects of life, across a variety of treatment settings. Together, you will discover a therapy approach tailored specifically to your needs. Rob’s goal is to help you towards self-care, stronger communication, understanding and the cultivation of healthy coping skills. In his free time, Rob enjoys playing with his young son and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys hiking and the outdoors. He loves reading and playing music with friends. Hayley Boss, Student intern

Hayley received a dual Bachelor's in Human Development and Psychology, with a minor in Sociology and Business Management from Oregon State University. She is currently in her last year of schooling as an MSW Student Intern at the University of Southern California. She has extensive experience with adolescents and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She utilizes play therapy, meditation/spirituality, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Hayley is exceptionally confident in both creating an environment of acceptance and setting attainable goals.

Yvette Fernandez, student intern

Yvette Fernandez is a graduate student earning her Master of Social Work degree through the University of Southern California. She began her internship with ABHSM in January 2024, during her second year in her MSW program. While completing her degree and interning, she works at a foster care agency, assisting families and foster youth by offering therapeutic behavioral services. Yvette earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2021, majoring in psychology, and has had experiences with youth and adolescents. She previously worked in group homes for foster youth and was an Applied Behavior Analysis Technician for individuals with autism. Ever since she was a teen, acting as a therapist for her peers, she has always been passionate about learning about mental health disorders and trauma, as well as wellness through the use of therapeutic techniques.
